Can I use this in Painter?

I'm not sure, have you tried? I don't use Painter much currently.

Hi Michael. I tried it in painter and it is not working.
Actually I am not sure that the utility I need can be made in designer. I would like to
1) add a black mask
2) select and paint the faces I want in white
3) add a material or filter to do the job that Pea_Panel does.
This would be really helpful for making panels that can't be made by hand.

Yes, this would be excellent in painter as a filter for a layer mask. Just like booman_gr described. Please make this work in SP, thanks :)
