Neat little thing for armored vehicles! :) Thanks!
Bit of a technical newbie here. In which folder do i have to place this? I have tried the tools folder in subtance painter, but i doesn't show up when i open the software
Yes, you must place it in the "presets/tools" folder of Substance Painter shelf (or your custom shelf). It will appear in the "Tools" tab of the shelf.
If Substance Painter is already started, you need to restart it to see the new content.
Found Out. Went to the substance folder in steamapps instead of my documents
Hi. I've placed this tool here [C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter\resources\shelf\allegorithmic\presets\tools] and even after restarting Substance Painter, I don't see the Weldign Tool in my tools tab. Any ideas guys?
You should never copy anything in the C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic folder.
The shelf is located in your Documents. You want to copy the Welding tool into C:\Users\...\Documents\Substance Painter\shelf\presets\tools
Ah...thanks, Jeremie
Make sure you are logged in with the same account with which you bought the Indie Pack/Substance Live.
This is 100/100 on the usefulness scale.
I don't have a download button for this, instead it says "Go Live!" and links to the product page of Substance Live.
Ah, that may be the issue because I purchased the Substance Indie Pack with my Steam account and made a Allegorithmic account after. So my Steam purchase isn't linked to my allegorithmic account. Can anyone link my steam purchase with my account here?
I cant download it. I am getting some weird error. could anyone hook me up with this welding tool please ?
Me too, I don't have a dowload button but a "go live!" button instead. I did buy all allegorithmic software as a pack last year on steam, so it seems weird that I should have to somehow buy it again to get acces to these extra's.
I contacted Allegorithmic and they explained how to connect my steam account licenses to my allegorithmic account. The following needs to be done on the allegorithmic.com site, not in here on the substance share website.
- Log on our website, or create an account if you don't have one
- Go to your account page
- Click on "Link your Steam account" (under the "Steam" rectangle)
- Enter your Steam credentials
- Click on "Retrieve my licenses"
I was able to download this utility now :)
